Every year the Multicultural Club at Mamaroneck High School commemorates MLK Jr. through student performances organized by Mrs. Turner-Porter.

Last year we celebrated Dr. King through our theme "Be The Breakthrough: A Legacy of Good Trouble." With the Black Lives Matter Movement, the Coronavirus Pandemic, and the first female Vice President of color, 2020 was very politically and emotionally turbulent. However, in Dr. King's legacy, we must prevail and encourage the 'Good Trouble.' No matter the circumstances: Be receptive, Be involved, Be the Breakthrough.
